An open love letter to maska bun and cutting chai

Dear Maska bun and Cutting chai,

I always feel that you are made for each other. And when I tasted you first time I felt all three of us are made for each other. As if you are Jodi no 1.(Couple No . 1)  We spent so many moments together.  You were there with me  as a brunch  and dinner. Before I had any idea about brunch or high tea...!!!  You guys were there on every occasssion of my colllege life.  For days you were my only meal.

How can i forget chai of Rutaraj,(a road side tea stall in Ahmedabad, India)  it 's like water mixed with tea..  I liked it more than my house tea which was filled up with extra sugar and milk.

Maska bun. oh,  what a taste!!!!  Amul butter spreaded on round shaped bun. I still don't know why it is called maska bun. Both words don't go to gather !!! I don't care ..I enjoy every bite of maska bun. In one of Iranian hotel I had bun with white butter but I didn't like the taste. For many of my friends including me  maska bun is the bun with Amul butter. (Amul is foremost milk product brand in Asia, it's butter is of yellowish color and little bit salty)

How can I explain cutting chai to my non Indian friends. Half cuppa  tea... but does it translate all  cutting chai taste??

Do you know I used to find your alternative in Starbucks tea chai latte and everything bagel with cream!!! My affair with didn't lasted long!!!!

Whenever I order you..cutting chai and maska bun it will take few minutes to arrive.. Those minutes seemed to me longest. My stomach making sounds of waiting.. My mouth started feeling the taste before it arrives.
This time I ordered  maska bun and cutting chai long back but they are taking very long more than a year!!!

Your taste is better than any girl friends I had!!!!

Lovingly
Your long Lost lover
JS
